Taller Virtual de Evaluación OPI: verano 2026
Este taller presenta la escala de valoración de ACTFL, la estructura de la Entrevista de Competencia Oral (OPI) y técnicas para administrar y evaluar el OPI, incluyendo sus aplicaciones en el aula de idiomas. Los participantes observan y realizan entrevistas de práctica en todos los niveles de competencia, de Principiante a Superior. La participación en un taller virtual de evaluación de OPI es el primer paso para convertirse en un evaluador de OPI certificado por ACTFL, con certificación limitada o completa.
El formato del curso es un híbrido de trabajo asíncrono (módulos bajo demanda a través de la Plataforma de Aprendizaje de ACTFL) y reuniones síncronas en vivo por Zoom con un facilitador. Aunque este taller es similar al presencial de 4 días de OPI, también incluye contenido adicional. (Total de 30 horas de desarrollo profesional)
Este verano, las publicaciones en foros y discusiones en vivo serán en español. Tras completar este taller, puedes solicitar la Certificación como Evaluador de OPI en el idioma que elijas.
IMPORTANTE: Los módulos bajo demanda y las sesiones en vivo son en español; sin embargo, completar el taller te permitirá solicitar la Certificación como Evaluador de OPI en el idioma que elijas. Por favor, ten en cuenta que recomendamos al menos un nivel avanzado de dominio en español para sacar el máximo provecho del taller.
Este curso tiene mucho contenido. Asegúrate de planificar al menos siete horas a la semana fuera de las sesiones por Zoom para tener tiempo suficiente para completar cada módulo a tiempo.
Debes completar todos los módulos en línea y asistir a todas las sesiones de Zoom en su totalidad para recibir un certificado de finalización y ser elegible para solicitar la Certificación como Evaluador de OPI.

- Entrevistas por Zoom del día 1: Viernes 31 de julio - 1 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. EST
- Entrevistas por Zoom del día 2: Sábado, 1 de agosto — 10:00 a. m. a 2:30 p. m. EST
- Los participantes completan la evaluación y la encuesta de evaluación final del taller. Una vez completados los módulos en línea, habrá un certificado disponible para descargar.

Ten en cuenta que ACTFL no reembolsará la diferencia a quienes se registren con la tarifa de no miembros y luego se unan a ACTFL. Las cuotas de membresía de ACTFL no son transferibles ni reembolsables.

This workshop introduces the ACTFL rating scale, the structure of the Oral Proficiency Interview (OPI) and techniques of administering and rating the OPI, including its applications in the language classroom. Participants observe and conduct practice interviews at all proficiency levels, Novice - Superior. Participation in a Virtual OPI Assessment Workshop is the first step towards becoming an ACTFL Certified OPI Tester with either Limited or Full Certification.
The format of the course is a hybrid of asynchronous course work (on-demand modules via ACTFL's Learning Management System) and synchronous videoconferencing meetings with a facilitator. The last week of the course includes the practice interviews with feedback and discussion from the facilitator and other participants. Although this workshop is similar to the in-person, 4-day OPI workshop, it includes additional content. (Total of 30 hours of professional development)
IMPORTANT: The on-demand modules and live sessions are in Spanish, however, completing the workshop will allow you to apply for OPI Tester Certification in the language of your choice. Please keep in mind that we recommend at least Advanced level proficiency in Spanish to gain the most out of the workshop.
This course is very content-heavy. Make sure to plan on at least seven hours per week outside of the zoom sessions to make sure you have sufficient time to complete each module on time. The online modules close one week after the last day of Zoom interviews. You must complete all online modules and attend all Zoom sessions in their entirety to receive a certificate of completion and be eligible to apply for OPI Tester Certification. Following completion of this workshop, you are eligible to apply for OPI Tester Certification in the language of your choice.
