This 90-minute virtual course is made possible by Klett World Languages and is designed to immerse administrators and department leaders in an interactive exploration of ethical and proficiency-aligned AI use. The course emphasizes hands-on practice and immediate application. For more in-depth understanding and practice of language proficiency, please refer to our workshops and other asynchronous courses

After completing the course you will receive a certificate of completion that indicates 1.5 contact hours with the material.


By the end of the course, you will be able to:

1. Analyze when AI use is ethical and appropriate in the world language classroom.

2. Apply the three modes of communication to determine when AI is effective in language learning.

3. Differentiate between ethical and unethical uses of AI in language learning.

4. Identify short-term and long-term plans for implementing ethical AI practices in the educational setting.
